The Center for Spiritual Renewal offers private, non-directed retreats for individuals and couples of all faiths and backgrounds. The Center, a former religious novitiate owned by the Immaculate Heart Community, is located on 26 beautiful acres in the foothills of Montecito. We offer an atmosphere of silence, serenity and hospitality — an oasis of peace where people can come to discover, nurture, and reconnect with their deeper life’s purpose.
Availability
Main House
We have the following booking possibilities each week:
• Midweek: Wednesday and Thursday nights, departing Friday
• Weekend: Friday and Saturday nights, departing Sunday
• Tuesday Early Arrivals: Tuesday nights can be added for a three-night
stay with a departure on Friday, or a five-night stay with a departure
on Sunday.
Please note! Tuesday is offered at a reduced rate with no meal served Tuesday night. Wednesday breakfast and lunch are included with your Tuesday night stay.
Hermitage
The Hermitage is available seven days a week. We require a two-night minimum stay up to a two-week maximum stay. Arrival days Monday – Saturday. No Sunday arrivals in the Hermitage. The Hermitage is closed Christmas week.
Center-Led Retreats
We offer seasonal, thematic retreats facilitated by our Center staff. These are ecumenical and interfaith, offering a gently-led focus and shared prayerful intention added to your retreat experience.
